Pence, before his days as the Governor of Indiana served six terms on Capitol Hill as an Indiana Congressman. The Hill reported on Wednesday that Pence recently ordered that all of his records from his twelve years in Congress be sealed, furthering speculation that he was the chosen vice presidential candidate.
Pence is a bold but welcomed move by Trump as he checks the boxes that have had other conservatives concerned. Pence is not without controversy as he amended a religious freedoms bill in Indiana that angered many conservatives around the country.
