(Saint Paul, MN) Saturday Governor Dayton vetoed spending bills for agriculture, environment and natural resources – as well as jobs and energy. On Tuesday the Governor met with legislative leaders including Speaker of the House Kurt Daudt. Both leaders announced that while no headway has been made regarding deals and negotiations, the location of the special session has been decided upon…the humble and quite frankly cramped, State Office Building, which is across the street from the Capitol.

In an attempt to get House Republicans to agree to his special session priorities, Governor Dayton is offering a $260 million income tax cut, for one year.
