Amy Klobuchar Joins Anti-Israel Democrats In Boycott of AIPAC

At the same time, prominent Democrats including Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar have hosted fundraisers for Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) despite the fact that CAIR has been designated to be affiliated with terrorist groups.

Amy Klobuchar is joining efforts of her fellow Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar in not attending the AIPAC convention. (Updated 6:30 PM)

Rep. Ilhan Omar has a history of spreading anti-semitic conspiracy theories that have received widespread condemnation from both liberals and conservatives in the Jewish community.  Despite the criticism, the views or Rep. Ilhan Omar are becoming mainstream in the Democratic party when it comes to Israel.

American Israel Public Affairs Committee has been a mainstream and bipartisan nonprofit with the mission to strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.

Prominent Democrats including former Democrat President Barack Obama have spoken to members of AIPAC. This year most major Democrat Presidential candidates including Minnesota US Senator Amy Klobuchar have chosen to boycott the pro-Israel group. At the same time, prominent Democrats including Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar have hosted fundraisers for Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) despite the fact that CAIR has been designated to be affiliated with terrorist groups.
