Small business owner and republican Tracy Nelson is running for state representative in district 42B. The district is currently held by DFL Representative Jason Isaacson, who is running for state senate in the same area. Nelson is a real estate broker and small business owner. Nelson’s political background only extends as far as holding a position with a local community council, but she believes her business and charity experiences will help her as a representative. Nelson says she is passionate about fiscal issues.
