“They know the police are not gonna do anything so it’s just a free for all!,” said a Minneapolis woman discussing a homeless encampment located at 28th & Columbus.

Speaking to Alpha News, the woman said she has emailed and called Mayor Jacob Frey about the encampment to no avail. The Minneapolis resident mentioned chemical fires, human feces, overdoses, public masturbation, and assaults when describing the scene.

“When is enough finally ENOUGH?!”

According to neighbors, over a dozen new tents have shown up at the homeless encampment since a different homeless encampment was shut down last week.

“This whole community deserves better!” she added.
