Date Set For Report On Massive Minnesota Daycare Fraud

On March 13th, citizens of Minnesota will have a chance to learn more about the fraud and how the Government allowed it to happen. The nonpartisan Office of Legislative Auditor is set to release its investigative report on March 13th, at 3 PM.

10 months ago a bombshell report from Fox 9 revealed that over $100,000,000 of taxpayer money that was earmarked to provide families with childcare was stolen and shipped to Somalia. More concerning Fox 9 reports that it is very possible that the taxpayer money got in the hands of terror organizations that plague Somalia.

Scott Stillman who was a former manager of the state’s digital forensics lab gave shocking testimony about childcare fraud during subcommittee on Childcare Access and Affordability. Stillman said he warned upper management at the Department of Human Services about massive daycare fraud almost a year ago after the scandal broke.

On March 13th, citizens of Minnesota will have a chance to learn more about the fraud and how the Government allowed it to happen. The nonpartisan Office of Legislative Auditor is set to release its investigative report on March 13th, at 3 PM.

The public will be able to listen to the report in person at the Minnesota Senate Office Building.
