Software engineer and former local party BPOU chair Don Lee is seeking the GOP endorsement for state representative in 52B, Inver Grove Heights.  The seat is currently held by Joe Atkins, who is not running for reelection.

Lee believes that his experience as a software engineer will give him a unique perspective as a lawmaker, explaining he will be able to offer expertise on technology-related legislation.

Lee says he is passionate about reforming omnibus bill legislation, as well as lowering taxes.

Lee ran in this district before, but this will be the first time he is running without an incumbent in the race.  Regina Barr is also seeking an endorsement from the GOP, and will interview with Alpha News next week.  Subscribe to make sure you don’t miss all of our upcoming interviews with candidates seeking your vote.
