The race in Minnesota’s Fourth Congressional District is heating up as Republican candidate Greg Ryan starts speaking out against incumbent Representative Betty McCollum. As Alpha News previously reported Ryan recently filed to run against McCollum two weeks ago, and says he plans to win over the deeply Democratic district by sharing his policies and what he says are McCollum’s weak points, saying she has “done nothing” for tax relief.
McCollum was elected in 2000 and made history as the second Minnesota woman elected to serve in Congress since its statehood in 1858. Ryan is a local business owner, and says those experiences have greatly influenced his policy positions.
Ryan says he is passionate about education reform, tax relief, and national security issues.
