Rep. Chad Anderson Loses Re-election Bid

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Andrew Carlson has defeated Rep. Chad Anderson 54-46. 

It was a Carlson v. Anderson rematch.

Chad Anderson who first made a name for himself by winning a special election in 2016. House District 50B, which is located in Hennepin County is known to be a heavy-hitting blue district.

Andrew Carlson who also ran during the special election in February, is looking to unseat Anderson.

Carlson previously served as a City Councilman in Bloomington. Anderson, the nephew of Sen. Dan Hall has made an impact in short time serving on the transportation policy and finance committee amongst others.
