At a recent townhall Democrat Rep. Angie Craig took a tougher position siding with the most liberal wing of her Democratic colleagues on proceeding with impeachment hearings despite the Mueller report exonerating President Trump of any possible collusion.
Pioneer Press previously reported that before this townhall Angie Craig would not give a clear answer on her position on impeaching President Trump.
Recent polling by ABC/Washington Post shows that 56% of the public oppose impeaching President Trump.
NRCC Spokeswoman Carly Atchison released a statement stating “It is bizarre that Angie Craig now decides to pursue baseless impeachment, but regardless, she should stop peddling conspiracy theories and focus on Minnesotans.”
