In many ways the outbreak of COVID-19’s “Omicron” variant set in motion the crumbling of the mainstream virus narrative.
And over one month into Omicron, which has likely taken over Delta as the dominant strain in the United States and elsewhere, that narrative is continuing to crumble.
At a recent news briefing, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) chief scientist, Soumya Swaminathan, admitted there is no evidence that healthy children or adolescents need a booster shot.
“No evidence at all,” she said, adding that the point of the vaccines in the first place is to “protect the most vulnerable, to protect those at highest risk of severe disease and dying.”
Then in a study published Wednesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that those with natural immunity from previous COVID infection were less likely to get the Delta variant than vaccinated individuals without previous infection.
The findings are significant given that politicians and the media have pooh-poohed the very concept of “natural immunity” in their zealous push to vaccinate as many people as possible.
And at the opening day of the World Economic Forum, Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted that society “won’t be able to eliminate this disease completely.”
“I don’t think people are going to be walking around with masks all the time. I mean, I think that’s very much out of the question,” he added.
Fauci also told MSNBC earlier this month that there is a difference between being hospitalized “with COVID” and “because of COVID.”
“The other important thing is that if you look at the children who are hospitalized, many of them are hospitalized with COVID, as opposed to because of COVID. What we mean by that: If a child goes to the hospital, they automatically get tested for COVID, and they get counted as a COVID-hospitalized individual. When in fact, they may go in for a broken leg, or appendicitis, or something like that. So it is overcounting the number of children who are ‘hospitalized with COVID’ as opposed to because of COVID,” he said.
Meanwhile, the former director of the FDA recently said that cloth masks don’t provide “a lot of protection.”

Ordinary Americans themselves are starting to focus their attention on more pressing issues than the Omicron variant. A new poll shows that only one-third of Americans still see COVID as a “top-five priority,” down from nearly half of all Americans at the beginning of 2021. Issues that have supplanted COVID include the economy, crime, education, and immigration.
Many of these views were considered “conspiracy theories” or “misinformation” just a few short months ago, and conservatives were banned or suspended from social media platforms for expressing them.
In fact, Big Tech continues to crack down on COVID contrarians. In a recent homily, a Minnesota priest condemned the division and hysteria wrought by politicians and the media since March 2020. YouTube censored the homily.
Fr. Thomas Dufner, pastor at Church of the Epiphany in Coon Rapids, also pointed out the various inconsistencies of the mainstream COVID narrative and slammed the idea of vaccine mandates, which he said “rob us” of our human dignity, our individual rights, and our privacy.
