Dear Somali Americans,
The recent uprising of Somali parents in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage school district over transgender policies is just the tip of the iceberg. Wait until you find out what they really have in store for your children.
Somali Americans, keep your families as far away from the left as you can. They will sexualize your children and dismantle your families.
The Democratic Party of today is not what it used to be. At one time, I was loyal to the party. I registered as a Democrat when I was 18 years old. I believed they were the party that cared about black people. I was faithful to their ideas until I discovered they are not faithful to me. And they are not faithful to black people.
I saw the devastating impact of their programs on the black family and the country as a whole. I became disenchanted with the Democratic Party.
They demonize and try to discredit anyone who speaks the truth. They rely on fear and mislead you into thinking they are the party of the people. They are not.
In fact, the Democratic Party is the party of slavery, racism, and discrimination. They drove our country to war to protect their right to own black people.
They fought against Reconstruction and desegregation. They are the party of the Ku Klux Klan and Jim Crow. They opposed every major piece or civil rights legislation in the 1950s and 60s.
Look at the American black family if you want to see what they have in store for you.
In the 1960s, our communities were steeped in faith, family, and education, much like yours are today. Before the Democratic Party started helping us, almost 80 percent of our children were born into two-parent homes. Democratic President Lyndon Baynes Johnson enacted the Great Society in the 1960s and heavily marketed social welfare programs in urban areas.
For the first time in U.S. history, the federal government financially incentivized women to have children as long as they remained unmarried. That is an absolute truth. As a result, out of wedlock births in the black community increased and marriage rates decreased. The introduction of social welfare stripped the father from the home and left women to raise children alone.
We now have 50 years of data showing the negative impact of social welfare programs on black lives. Today almost 80 percent of black children are born into single-parent homes, almost always led by a mother without a husband. Children from fatherless homes are more likely to use drugs, commit a crime, have a child out of wedlock, commit suicide, and drop out of high school.
After five generations of fatherless homes, American black culture is in crisis. Our communities are riddled with crime. Academic performance among our kids is low, and we are underrepresented in the job market. Progressives try to convince Americans the disparities are because of white privilege and systemic racism. They fail to acknowledge the role failed social welfare programs played in the destruction of the two-parent black family.
They will do whatever is necessary to convince you that you should be loyal to them. They’ll use people from your own community — the media, academia — and pay them to spread their lies. They will tell your women they don’t need men. They will tell your children they don’t need fathers. They will plant radical gender ideology in the minds of your young children, which will confuse them and lead them to rebellion and sexual promiscuity. They diagnose anyone who disagrees with them with a phobia — homophobic, xenophobic, or transphobic.
They rely on deception to achieve their goal of making and keeping you dependent upon them. If you came to this country to take advantage of opportunities, run from the left.
When you protested — by the hundreds — against the school district’s policy that allows your children to socially transition in school without your knowledge, they said you were “misinformed,” which is another way of saying you heard the truth but they want you to think you did not.
The transgender student policy will permit your children to change their gender identity at school and conceal that information from you. Period. Read the policy for yourself. The policy clearly states, “School district personnel shall not disclose information that may reveal a student’s transgender or gender-expansive status to others, including parents and other school personnel, unless legally required to do so or unless the student has authorized such disclosure.” Anything short of that is a lie. They may change the wording of the policy, but the practices will stay the same.
They comforted you and pacified you until you went away satisfied with their false narrative.
We may not share a common heritage, but we share common values — family, faith, and a desire for a better life in America. You are like many other people who came to the United States with dreams of a better life. The Hmong, Polish, Italians, Mexicans and others came to our shores with no money and little knowledge of the language. Many prospered with a commitment to their faith in God, hard work, pursuing a good education for their children, embracing economic opportunity through the private sector and a strong yearning to be an American.
They subscribed to American values, not the values of leftist Democrats. I could not be more sincere when I tell you to run away from them as fast as you can.
