MINNEAPOLIS — Gov. Mark Dayton took a strong stance against the plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act by Senate Republicans on Wednesday afternoon.
Dayton joined DNC Deputy Chair and Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison at North Point Health & Wellness Center in Minneapolis to talk about the harm removing the Affordable Care Act could cause on Minnesotans.
Ellison has been a strong proponent for universal single-payer health care in the United States. Sharp rises in premiums left Dayton somewhat critical of how the Affordable Care Act has played out in its eight years of implementation.
