Alpha News will be co-hosting a Dec. 15 debate with Minnesota’s Republican candidates for governor.
The debate will be moderated by Hugh Hewitt, an esteemed radio host and author who has moderated presidential debates.
The event will feature Sen. Michelle Benson, Dr. Scott Jensen, Sen. Paul Gazelka, Dr. Neil Shah, and Mayor Mike Murphy. The five Republicans are competing for the Minnesota GOP’s endorsement to take on Democratic Gov. Tim Walz in 2022.

The candidates will answer questions on the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, public safety, education and more.
Tickets start at $20 and are selling fast — two-thirds are already sold out. The debate will take place at 6 p.m. on Dec. 15 at Providence Academy in Plymouth, Minnesota.
