"...the focus is on those Twin Cities more because of the criminal activity that’s been uncovered by DOJ and DHS," said Homan.

(Just the News) — Border czar Tom Homan this week asserted that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was focusing on the Minneapolis-St. Paul area because recently uncovered “criminal activity.”

“I can’t tell you how many people are on the ground now, how many people are going to be on the ground … but the focus is on those Twin Cities more because of the criminal activity that’s been uncovered by DOJ and DHS,” Homan told Fox News.

Last month, reports broke of widespread fraud in Minnesota state public services that even saw the tax dollars allegedly reach the Somali terror group al-Shabaab.

The Twin Cities are home to a large Somali expat community that has increasingly come under fire from the Trump administration. Trump himself has recently expressed a desire to remove Somalis from the United States.
