Western Minnesota Residents gathered in Detroit Lakes outside the office of Democrat Congressman Collin Peterson to voice opposition to the Democrat campaign to impeach President Donald Trump.
Republican candidate for Congress Michelle Fischbach joined protesters in a peaceful demonstration. The office of Congressman Peterson did not meet with the constituents.
Collin Peterson has been the only Democrat Congressman from Minnesota who has not fully embraced impeachment, at the same time he refused to condemn the Democrat Speaker for pursuing impeachment and voted against a resolution to stop the impeachment.
Residents spoke to local news about their frustration for what they see as lack of leadership by Rep. Peterson.
