Former Miss Iraq “Ilhan Omar does NOT represent millions of Muslims”

Sarah Idan then identified and claimed that she does not stand for Omar’s “anti-American, antisemitic, Muslim Brotherhood agenda,” and the reality that the Minnesotan Congresswoman uses “this democracy to further [her] Islamic socialism goals of dividing & weakening our country."

Former Miss Iraq, Sarah Idan, tweeted that she fled from the same ideology and terror that fellow Muslim, Congresswoman Ihlan Omar, is purported to export here.

“Ilhan Omar does not represent me as a Muslim – nor does she represent millions of Muslims in the Middle East,” Idan said on the Sara Carter Show.

Representative Omar soon responded that “[Idan] is not a Minnesotan resident” so there is no way to represent her.  However, the former Miss Iraq clarified that Omar’s actions as a public Muslim woman, for better or worse, can be construed to represent others in the same faith.

Sarah Idan then identified and claimed that she does not stand for Omar’s “anti-American, antisemitic, Muslim Brotherhood agenda,” and the reality that the Minnesotan Congresswoman uses “this democracy to further [her] Islamic socialism goals of dividing & weakening our country.”

Two years ago, Idan’s title was revoked and her family was forced to flee the country after she received death threats and blackmail from the Iraqi government over posting photos taken with Miss Israel on social media. She asserts that this is a demonstration of the divisive devices that are espoused by the ideology Omar supports.

She is a first-hand survivor of the pernicious effects of the ideology and has stepped up to confront them taking root in American soil.

This exchange further exacerbates the situation sparked by Omar repeatedly spouting venomous anti-Semitic language.

Idan was persecuted because she advocated for peace and reconciliation in the middle east.
