Rep. Ilhan Omar was arrested by U.S. Capitol Police Tuesday during a pro-abortion protest outside the U.S. Supreme Court.

Omar confirmed the arrest on Twitter.

She and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared to fake being handcuffed.

“It is against the law to block traffic, so officers are going to give our standard three warnings before they start making arrests,” U.S. Capitol Police said on Twitter.

They said 34 people were arrested during the demonstration for blocking traffic, including 16 members of Congress.

The protest was organized in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Democrats are now calling for federal abortion legislation and expanding the Supreme Court.
