Socialist Democrat rising star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez again caused discomfort among her fellow Democrats when she compared USA immigration policies to concentration camps run by the Nazis during WWII.
The Holocaust museum, Yad Vashem panned these comments and invited Ocasio-Cortez to learn more about the Holocaust before making such inflammatory comments.
A member of the Polish Parliament went as far as to invite Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to tour former Nazi concentration camps. Ocasio-Cortez has rejected the invitation.
Instead, Ocasio-Cortez chose not only to not apologize for her comments but to double down and repeat them.
Democrat Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and accused anti-semite Ilhan Omar have publicly chosen to echo and stand with the comparison.
Ellison’s retweet of support was also shared by Democrat State Representative Carlos Mariani and former Democrat State Representatives Joe Radinovich and Carly Melin.
