Rep. Ilhan Omar continues to make anti-semitic tweets and statements. She fully embraced anti-semite Linda Sarsour on the first day of Congress and since then has weekly caused controversy including tweeting a libelous tweet directed at a high school boy.
Over the weekend Ilhan Omar continued to spread the conspiracy theory that Jews are secretly buying politicians to be pro-Israel

When asked for clarification Omar specifically mentioned American Israel Public Affair Committee which has been a target of leftist conspiracy theories in the past.

The fact that Ilhan Omar serves on the powerful foreign affairs committee has caused angst even among some Democrats.
Muslim reformers and Jewish Groups were quick to condemn Ilhan Omar.
As an American Muslim, I plead that this is only a good first step to be followed by a swift sanction against @IlhanMN for bigotry unfit for the US Congress with removal from all committees. Ignoring this would bring the “bigotry of low expectations” to a new low for Muslims. https://t.co/szawtKBQlV

Even Chelsea Clinton distanced herself as a Democrat from Ilhan Omar
Co-signed as an American. We should expect all elected officials, regardless of party, and all public figures to not traffic in anti-Semitism.

As of today, not a single Minnesota Democrat has condemned or even distanced themselves from Rep. Ilhan Omar. (UPDATE: Since publication, a few Minnesota Democrats have issued statements which you can read below)
Republicans have been frustrated by lack of response from Democrat colleagues of Rep., Ilhan Omar. “It’s time for Angie Craig, Dean Phillips and Collin Peterson to take a stand against anti-Semitism and bigotry by calling for Ilhan Omar’s immediate removal from the House Foreign Affairs Committee,” said NRCC Spokeswoman Carly Atchison.
Angie Craig is on record as not wanting to speak out against Rep. Ilhan Omar or her antisemitism
Spoke @AngieCraigMN at MN Capitol and asked if she’d join Dems in rebuke of @IlhanMN over Israel tweet: “I’m going to let my colleagues speak for themselves. I certainly support strong and safe Israel as the only democracy in the Middle East and I’m going to continue to do that.”

Dean Phillps who himself is Jewish has so far chosen not to denounce the anti-semitism from his colleague. This comes after Phillips broke his word about being an independent and not voting for Nancy Pelosi.
Minnesota DFL Party Refused to comment
. @MinnesotaDFL declines to comment on latest Rep. Ilhan Omar tweet controversy, which is drawing condemnation from veteran lawmakers in both parties and GOP calls for Speaker Pelosi to remove the freshman Dem from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

UPDATE 2:
Minnesota State Senator Ron Latz who is a constituent of Rep. Ilhan Omar has also condemned her comments
(1/3) Unfortunately, Rep. Ilhan Omar has once again made clearly anti-Semitic public statements. While I was prepared to give her an opportunity to assuage my doubts, instead she has reinforced them. She cannot constantly make statements that suggest she was “ignorant” of the…
