Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, the state’s oldest pro-life organization, endorsed President Donald Trump for reelection Saturday, criticizing Joe Biden’s support for “abortion on demand.”

Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL) is the state’s oldest and largest pro-life group and has over 70,000 members

“Joe Biden supports abortion on demand and opposes protection for unborn children. He even wants to expand the violence of abortion by making American taxpayers fund and promote it both here in the U.S. and abroad. And he wants to appoint only judges who are committed to striking down protections for unborn children and their mothers,” Paul Stark, MCCL’s communications director, told Alpha News.

In its voter guide, the organization notes that Biden wants taxpayer dollars to be spent on abortions, has called abortion an “essential health care service,” and plans to make Roe v. Wade the “law of the land” by codifying it into federal law.

“He wants to repeal the Hyde Amendment, the longstanding measure that prevents federal Medicaid funding of elective abortions,” states the voter guide.

Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, has a 0% pro-life record on National Right to Life’s scorecard

“She voted against protection for unborn children after 20 weeks (when they can feel pain) and against protection for babies who survive abortion,” says the MCCL’s voter guide.

Meanwhile, President Trump has “issued regulations to prevent Title X funding from going to facilities that perform or refer for abortions,” “implemented the Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance policy to stop funding of groups that perform or promote abortion overseas,” and has “cut off funding for a U.N. agency because of its involvement in China’s forced abortion program.”

Republican congressional candidate Michelle Fischbach and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell accepted MCCL’s endorsement of Trump on his behalf Saturday.

“Their endorsement of President Trump and Vice President Pence is a testament to the dedication that the Trump ticket has to protecting the unborn,” said Minnesota Republican Party Chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan, calling MCCL “the standard-bearer in the pro-life movement.”

Stark said that “many more unborn children will be killed if Joe Biden gets his way.”

“The Biden-Harris ticket is the most extreme pro-abortion major-party ticket in American history,” he said. “Unborn children and their mothers deserve protection and support. They don’t deserve Joe Biden.”
