U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar posted a picture of her daughter wearing an anarchist-themed necklace on New Year’s Eve.
Omar’s daughter, Isra Hirsi, wore a necklace with the acronyms “FTP” and “BLM” to ring in the new year in a picture posted to the congresswoman’s Twitter account.
FTP stands for “f– the police,” an anarchist slogan. BLM stands for “Black Lives Matter.”

“Our today doesn’t determine our tomorrow. Looking forward to what 2021 has in store for us,” Omar wrote.
Isra acknowledged the meaning of her necklace Sunday morning, mocking those who raised concerns about it.

Others chimed in under Isra’s post to praise her. One mother shared that her school-age child also made and wears a bracelet with the “ACAB” acronym, which stands for “all cops are bastards.”
My child got a rubber sheriff’s office bracelet at school and turned it inside out, wrote this, and wore it this way. (Also should be a “b”, she’s dyslexic.) So scary!! pic.twitter.com/CAgp1mUOXe

This is not the first time Isra has generated controversy via social media. Over the summer she called U.S. soldiers “bitches” and called for a communist revolution on TikTok.
More recently, Isra and her mother shared a laugh on Twitter about how their family bonds by radicalizing people against capitalism.

Meanwhile, Omar just recently terminated a contract she had with her newest husband’s consulting agency after paying him nearly $3 million in campaign funds.
