A Minneapolis area home burned early Wednesday morning and “Biden 2020,” an anarchist symbol and “BLM” graffiti was found at the scene.
A Facebook account apparently owned by Deana Molla posted a series of striking images Wednesday morning that appear to show a Brooklyn Center house on fire. In the accompanying post, Molla claims her property was “targeted by BLM/Antifa.” A spokesman from the Brooklyn Center Police Department confirmed to Alpha News that Molla owns the property in question.
“This morning, at 3:48 am … we woke up to a loud explosion, and saw that our camper was on fire, along with both of Dennis’s trucks, his garage and our entire back yard. Thank God our main house is safe. We are safe. Our children are safe,” Molla wrote.
The Brooklyn Center Police Department also released a statement about the incident.
“Just before 4:00 a.m., Brooklyn Center police officers and firefighters were dispatched to the report of an explosion and fire in the area of 69th Ave N and Morgan Ave N,” the release reads. “Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, but not before a detached three car garage and three vehicles were destroyed.”
“The fire is considered suspicious and our investigation remains extremely active,” the release says, adding that “a fairly large ‘Trump 2020’ sign” on the property was also destroyed and that left-wing graffiti was found on the burned garage.
Both the ATF and the FBI are also involved in the ongoing investigation.
It is impossible to confirm at this time whether or not the fire was set by left-wing agitators.
“Everything’s on the table right now, there’s a lot of potential motivation or motivations that could be behind something like this, and we’re not ruling anything out,” a police department spokesperson told Alpha News.
