Pro-Palestine activists blocked the streets around Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s Minnesota office on Wednesday, saying they wouldn’t reopen them until she agreed to end U.S. military aid to Israel.
The protest followed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, with the MN Anti-War Committee criticizing Klobuchar for giving Netanyahu a “standing ovation.”
Crime Watch Minneapolis reported that 24 individuals were arrested, cited, and released following the protest that blocked all directions of 12th and Washington Avenue S.
