Group gathers downtown to rally against Trump
Minneapolis, MN – Protesters rallied for a multitude of issues Monday evening in Downtown Minneapolis, including calling on Minneapolis to lead the resistance against Trump, calling for a fifteen dollar minimum wage, demanding Minneapolis remain a sanctuary city, and supporting immigration and trans rights.
Protesters made a pit-stop at the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce to demand they stop lobbying against the minimum wage increase.
Race was brought up several times during the rally, with many protesters saying Trump and his supporters were either racist or ignorant.
Protesters repeatedly said the fight is far from over, and that there will be more protests in the near future.
