“A guy who thinks he’s a girl is still a guy with a mental health condition.“
With these few words, Rep. Mary Franson (R-Alexandria) learned the hard way of the costs involved in our degenerate, pathologized society simply for speaking the truth.
Precisely when did it become the equivalent of using the N-word to say clearly and without reservation what is so obviously true: there are only two genders and they are objectively, manifestly and biologically impossible to change?
This is how you lose the culture wars and with it, the culture, the future, and in this instance, reality itself.

The hive mind of the Regressive Left media, local and national, immediately kicked in when Franson’s blasphemous words were tweeted. Never let it be said that they don’t have religion. They do, only it presents itself in different clothing.
City Pages, our local hot mess admixture of Buzzfeed, Jezebel and Gawker, only more illiterate, came after Franson first, noting that “It’s been a while since Franson offered something that was so offensive as to be noteworthy.” Truth is offensive to these types. The only upside to the click bait shaming piece was that it featured Franson in a red MAGA hat that I’d given her. We’re friends.
WCCO television found the politically incorrect tweet newsworthy, which I read about because I’m unable to sustain thirty minutes of my intelligence being insulted. Likewise KARE 11 had some rote “burn the witch story.” Who are these people that watch Twin Cities television news and think themselves informed?
The Minnesota LGBTQ Legislative Caucus, the SS of the Trans Reich, weighed in clucking and bemoaning her “false and pejorative” tweet. I saw neither in her words and I don’t think most people did either.
DFL chair Ken Martin wasn’t about to be left out of the pile-on, characterizing her tweet as “hurtful” (not an argument). Female genital mutilation is literally hurtful but I don’t remember Martin going public with any condemnation. He also sought to tie the tweet to the recent election of not one but two so called transgender people. Nothing in Franson’s tweet did so but the Regressive Left is the enemy of truth, not its proponent.
For a party that speciously insists they are one of science, Democrats and their allies in the media and corporate entertainment industry insist on forcing the rest of us to believe their lies.

Franson released a statement on her Facebook page that some took as an apology but Martin was having none of it. Republican House leadership and its “messaging” team likely pushed her to say something. Martin called her comments a “non-apology.” See? Next time, don’t apologize. Perhaps she won’t. She ended her brief Facebook statement by saying “This isn’t the first time I’ve offended the social justice warriors and it won’t be the last.” That’s the spirit.
It must have been a slow news day for the Saint Cloud Times, which covered the tweet as well. It noted the election of two new Minneapolis “transgender” city council members saying “Neither candidate made their gender identity a focal point of their campaigns.” That’s hilarious. Never let it be said media doesn’t think their readers are absolute fools.
Slime factory ThinkProgress churned out an exceptionally false piece, even by their standards, claiming Franson’s tweet and apology “both personally attack a newly minted member of the Minneapolis City Council for being transgender.” Neither did either.
The actual City Council of Minneapolis demanded to speak with Franson, apparently for a spanking, hopefully with black leather, latex and bondage paraphernalia.
The manufactured story also made The New York Times, U.S. News & World Report and other media outlets with the same talking points designed to silence people who speak the truth. As Stefan Molyneux observed “The greater the gap between propaganda and reality, the more aggression is unleashed on those who point out the discrepancy.”

I tweeted out the title of this column Saturday night, as is my wont. Immediately one liberal said in reference to it “A lot of villainous language in defense of a mean person.” These few words embody the entirety of the Regressive Left’s tactics but they are weak tactics, easily defeated by standing your ground, by not taking the premise as the grounds of the argument.
Name calling is essentially what was engaged in when the usual suspects went after Franson. That’s all they have and it’s time that those of us opposed to cultural madness and degeneracy started realizing it. They thought that if enough Americans were called racists and bigots that the corrupt Hillary Clinton would win the presidency. To media’s enduring rage, Americans, to their enduring credit, saw through the insults and voted their interests, their conscience, their beliefs.
I’m old enough to remember drag queens for what they were: outre, a standout because they were uncommon and most definitely homosexual men dressing up as women. But they didn’t actually think dressing up made them women. Now some men do. To dissent from this is to be labeled a hater.

This is where I say that every single person without exception deserves respect, every single person, dignity, every single person equal justice under the law. This isn’t difficult. And I include the unborn because I actually understand biology. The Regressive Left insists that it’s the sina qua non of female autonomy that partial birth abortion continues unimpeded. At some point, the horrors of their worldview becomes unavoidable.
The Big Lie that is attempted by the Regressive Left with which to frame their agenda is that anyone in opposition can only be mean, “hurtful,” unkind, insensitive, guilty of any number of phobias (I’m waiting for incestphobic) or other childish insults. The fierce, coordinated attack on Franson is proof positive that speaking the truth is fatal to their conceits, their constructs, their agenda. The attack is designed to keep others from saying the same thing in public. Soviet-like, it’s okay to speak this way in private but state sponsored media will keep the public square safe only for their propaganda.
A recent Pew poll reported that 77% of Democrats with a college education do not believe that sex is assigned at birth. This is the entrenched madness we face. That Franson found so few public defenders is an indictment of those who otherwise pretend to voters that they are standing fast against this onslaught. Fortunately, after Trump, we don’t need the swamp but only each other.

In Canada parents can now have their children taken by the state if they are adjudicated as standing in the way of their children’s desire to “transition.” If this isn’t a fascist agenda, then none exists. So taken aback I was at this news that I contacted Denyse O’Leary, a Canadian writer friend of mine, to see if it was true. She assured me that such was the case. Bill 89 is as innocuous as it gets, something out of Himmler’s paperwork one might imagine, a Wannsee Conference for traditional families.
Which DFL loon would like to introduce similar legislation here? They have to start somewhere, play the long game, normalize the pathological, wear the other side down. With Minnesota Republicans, this is exceptionally easy.

Enforced conformity, enforced celebration, enforced adherence to the repellent is now the norm. There’s no limiting principle to this degeneracy: Salon now advocates for understanding pedophiles, arguments are made that marriage shouldn’t be limited to just two people even without reference to that backward and misogynistic religion of Islam, some claim the right to marry buildings, children as young as nine or ten are deemed capable of knowing they’re actually the other gender and are given hormone suppression therapy by their monstrous parents as a result.
Not long ago Cosmopolitan ran a story “This Is What It’s Like to Fall in Love With Your Brother.”
There is no end point for these social engineers who want to transform social relations and hence our very selves. The stakes could not be higher.
Here we come to the heart of the matter: the trans formation of the family to the point of unrecognizability, of its destruction. One doesn’t need to exaggerate; one only needs to describe accurately present conditions and future objectives. The reaction to doing so reveals the insecurity of those who wish to reshape society according to their sick views. This is not a position of strength; it’s a reaction rather of those who are knowingly dishonest recoiling from the truth.
They can only succeed by silencing us.
And, as was said by a different group on a different subject years ago, silence is death.
