Blaine police say an officer suffered a concussion during a brawl at a Northtown Mall carnival Saturday.
“Over the weekend, there were multiple altercations at the Northtown Mall Carnival. Officers intervened, but the situation escalated quickly and they were outnumbered,” Blaine police said in a Facebook post.
“One officer sustained a concussion after being elbowed. After nearly three minutes of the crowd growing unruly, pushing and striking officers, officers had to threaten the use of a chemical agent to disperse the crowd. A police drone capturing the incident was in the area for a crowd count at the time.”
