Voter’s Alliance Petitions State Supreme Court Over Same-Day Voter Registration Practices

A Minnesota organization is petitioning the State Supreme Court to put an end to unconstitutional voting practices

The Minnesota Voter’s Alliance announced it is petitioning the State Supreme Court to end specific practices that take place during same-day voter registration.  The Alliance claims that in the average presidential election year over 500,000 people cast their votes without first being determined as eligible voters, going on to say that nearly 10% of those people cannot be determined as eligible.

The Alliance has hired attorney Erick Kaardal to take on their case.  Kaardal claims that important elections have been determined by voters who should not have been able to vote, and wants to put an end to this practice.
