In a recently-released video, the New House Republican Caucus claims that a group of Democrat officials have created an “illegal election.”
The video, called “What Happened in Minnesota During the 2020 Election,” was uploaded to the New House Republican Caucus (NHRC) Facebook page. In the video, Rep. Steve Drazkowski, R-Mazeppa, explains why he and other members of the caucus believe that Minnesota’s election was not carried out properly.
“It is clear that the 2020 election in many states, including Minnesota, wasn’t carried out according to the law,” reads the NHRC’s Facebook post.
In the video, Rep. Drazkowski accuses Attorney General Keith Ellison, Secretary of State Steve Simon, and Ramsey County Assistant Chief Judge Sara Grewing of working with Democracy Docket to create an “illegal election.”
Drazkowski also claims that the validity of the election results is a major concern for the majority of Americans.
“We just got past the 2020 elections. There is great uncertainty in Minnesota and throughout the country about exactly what happened,” said Drazkowski. “And as we look back, only a few months, we start to see what really troubles most people in this state and country, and that is that it appears very clearly, that in many states, including Minnesota, our election wasn’t carried out according to the law.”
“The secretary, the attorney general, and Democracy Docket changed the rules of the election in the state of Minnesota perfectly 180 degrees contrary to the laws that the State Legislature wrote into law, that still are in law today and did not change, and conducted an illegal election,” said the representative.
