Just one week after Donald Trump announced that he would be choosing Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his running mate, Hillary Clinton has also made her choice.
Late this evening, Hillary Clinton announced via Twitter that Virginia Senator Tim Kaine (D) would be her choice for Vice President.

Kaine has a long standing career in politics. His senate page states that he has served as a Mayor, Governor, U.S. Senator, and now a Vice Presidential candidate.
Kaine has Minnesota ties. According to the Star Tribune, he was born Feb. 26, 1958, in St. Paul, the oldest of three boys.
