"Trapped!: Chaos in the Classroom" is hosted by Alpha News Journalist Sheila Qualls.

A gripping new podcast series on Minnesota schools will be released Thursday, April 20, on Alpha News.

In “Trapped!: Chaos in the Classroom,” Alpha News journalist Sheila Qualls dives into the alarming rise of violence and the decline of quality education in Minnesota schools.

She talks with administrators, teachers, parents, students, and experts about these issues, and she paints a picture of why expectations are continually dropping in classrooms.

Many of those she spoke with fear retaliation if their names are released, and they spoke to Qualls only under anonymity.

She argues that traditional values are being attacked, and children are at stake.

“Thousands of Minnesota families are trapped, held hostage by a system that is shaped by misguided and irresponsible policies,” Qualls says in a trailer.

She explores potential solutions to improve the state of education and to create a safer and more effective learning environment.
