Has the Minnesota State Fair gone too far? From drag shows for all ages to not-so-hidden threats in crop art and self-righteousness on full display, a Republican activist and conservative opinionator offered his take on the state of affairs at the State Fair.

“I think it’s actually a reflection of just how gone the left has become in the state,” Kamara said of some of the scenes at this year’s fair.
“There’s all the Minnesotans that are working hard … they’re just not really paying attention to what is happening that is becoming mainstream Democrat policy. And I think the State Fair is a perfect showcase of that. From quilts to crop art calling for overt acts of violence, this is what the Democrat Party now represents.”
Some of the seed art at the fair this year has included a controversial “8647” display, images depicting George Floyd, Renee Good, and Alex Pretti as “martyrs,” and plenty of anti-ICE designs.
“So the average Minnesotan is like, why does it seem like this is what the current state of Democrats are, where everything is about violence and resistance and oppression being overthrown? And it’s foreign because in America, we don’t accept those values,” Kamara said.
One state lawmaker, Rep. Pam Altendorf, spoke with Alpha News earlier this week about how disturbed she was by the fair’s “all ages” drag show, where she saw a young boy hand cash to one of the performers.
“It’s deranged behavior, but you have to understand where it is this springs from,” Kamara commented. “Reject the premise. Tell the State Fair that you don’t like the things that you’re seeing.”
