Minnesota based political campaign technology company, Buzz 360, was recently awarded investment from Startup Caucus, an investing accelerator that supports startups and companies that help Republicans win elections.
Only six companies were awarded investments from Startup Caucus’ accelerator. Each of these companies receives $25,000 from Startup Caucus in addition to access to their network, additional training, and educational materials.
Democrats dominate in the realm of campaign technology, but Startup Caucus and Buzz360 are looking to change that. “It’s great to be recognized by the Startup Caucus as one of the most promising new political technology firms. We are confident that the campaigns who use our platform will see the results come November 2020,” said Lisa Schneegans, co-founder of Buzz 360.
Buzz 360 was specifically chosen for its innovative app called SwipeRight that gives campaigns a new communications platform by allowing candidate supporters and volunteers to recruit their friends directly. This peer to peer marketing has been utilized by Democrats in recent elections and is just now becoming available to republicans through Buzz360’s app.
Numinar, Voterfied, Trailmapper, Pundit, and Voter Science were also awarded investments by Starup Caucus, in addition to Buzz 360.
