New Poll Shows 60% of Minnesota Residents Oppose Democrat Gas Tax Increases

More concerning to the Democrats is that in Greater Minnesota 75% of Minnesota residents are opposed to the gas tax increase.

Democrats would like to increase the gas tax by 20 cents per gallon

Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and Minnesota Business Partnership released a new poll of showing that 60% of Minnesota residents oppose the Minnesota Democrat Proposal to increase the gas tax.

Of the 60% of those who oppose the gas over 40% say they are strongly opposed to the gas tax increase.

Estimates show that an average family will pay between $200-$300 more of the year if the gas tax gets passed.

More concerning to the Democrats is that in Greater Minnesota 75% of Minnesota Residents are opposed to the gas tax increase. Democrats have been trying to make headway in Greater Minnesota since losing two special elections in Greater Minnesota.
