Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and Minnesota Business Partnership released a new poll of showing that 60% of Minnesota residents oppose the Minnesota Democrat Proposal to increase the gas tax.
Of the 60% of those who oppose the gas over 40% say they are strongly opposed to the gas tax increase.
Estimates show that an average family will pay between $200-$300 more of the year if the gas tax gets passed.
More concerning to the Democrats is that in Greater Minnesota 75% of Minnesota Residents are opposed to the gas tax increase. Democrats have been trying to make headway in Greater Minnesota since losing two special elections in Greater Minnesota.
