In a shocking poll released by Rasmussen Reports and The Heartland Institute this week, 17% of mail-in voters admitted to casting a mail-in ballot in a state where they “were no longer a permanent resident.”

The poll surveyed 1,085 “likely” voters from across the country, and was conducted from Nov. 30. to Dec. 6. Furthermore, the poll’s margin of error was three points and had a “95% level of confidence.”

Among the questions, the Rasmussen poll asked all respondents who they voted for in the 2020 presidential election; 46% said they voted for Joe Biden and 45% said they voted for Donald Trump. Additionally, 30% of all respondents said they voted absentee or by mail-in ballot for the 2020 election.

Ten percent of all respondents said they knew “a friend, family member, co-worker, or other acquaintance” who admitted to casting “a mail-in ballot in 2020 in a state other than his or her state of permanent residence.”

Eight percent of all respondents claimed that they were offered “pay or reward” by a “friend, family member, or organization, such as a political party” in exchange for voting.

Of the 30% who voted via absentee or mail-in ballot, 17% admitted to casting a mail-in ballot in a state where they “were no longer a permanent resident.”

In a Truth Social post regarding the Rasmussen poll, former President Donald Trump said this information is “THE BIGGEST STORY OF THE YEAR.”

According to the Federal Election Commission, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania were all decided by less than 1.16% of each state’s popular vote during the 2020 presidential election.

On Thursday, Bloomberg News and Morning Consult released new polling data which shows Donald Trump leading Joe Biden in multiple swing states including Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona and North Carolina.

A Real Clear Politics (RCP) average of polls currently shows that only 39.8% of Americans approve of the job that President Biden is doing. Meanwhile, 56.6% disapprove of Biden’s job performance.

Biden’s approval numbers at this point in his presidency are lower than his three predecessors when similarly compared. In December of their respective third years as president, Donald Trump’s approval rating was 43.6%, Barack Obama’s approval rating was 45.1%, and George W. Bush’s approval rating was 55%.

Regarding the direction of the country, the RCP average of polls shows that only 25.2% of people believe America is headed in the right direction. Conversely, 67.8% believe America is headed in the wrong direction.

A recent Emerson College poll found Donald Trump trailing Joe Biden in Minnesota by just two points.
