Top Minnesota Democrat Staffer Calls USS Minneapolis-St. Paul “Murder Boat”

Minnesota State Representative Nick Zerwas called on Minnesota Democrats to fire Davis and issue an apology.

Minnesota Democrat Party Deputy Communication Director William Davis has a long history of controversial rhetoric. Previously Davis has called for the killing of Republicans, a comment that he received a 7 days suspension from Minnesota Democrats.

Davis again caused outrage on social media this time by attacking the US Navy. US Navy lunched a new ship named USS Minneapolis-St.Paul. Fox 9 Reporter tweeted a video and commented “What a sight! The future USS Minneapolis-St. Paul is launched in Marinette, WI. The @USNavy‘s news littoral combat ship (LCS 21) is designed to carry out close-to-shore missions.”

This seemingly noncontroversial tweet upset William Davis who then tweeted calling the new USS Minneapolis-St. Paul a “murder boat” and objected to the name of the combat ship.

Veterans were both confused and offended by the unprovoked attack from a top Minnesota Democrat staffer.

Army Veteran Dave Thul, tweeted “So last week did you celebrate the 75th anniversary of a whole fleet of murder boats? Murder planes and murder parachutes?”

Other veterans tried to contact Davis via Twitter but were soon blocked
