Trump Victory – President Trump and the Republican National Committee’s joint field operation is touting yet another month of successful volunteer engagement with less than four months to go before the November elections.

Over the Fourth of July weekend, the Trump Victory team – that has touted its presence in the state since the 2016 election made more than 60,000 voter contacts across the state, the Republican National Committee Spokesperson Preya Samsundar said in a news release.

Nationwide, the volunteer efforts to re-elect President Trump this November made two million voter contacts and held more than 1,000 trainings and volunteer meet-ups.

In its news release, Trump Victory also touted its voter registration efforts stating that “Trump Victory and the Republican National Committee hit a record milestone of doubling the number of Republican voter registrations collected in all of 2016.” While the organization did not mention the number of voter registrations made in Minnesota, they did note their efforts were successful in places like Cambridge, MN – just north of the Twin Cities.

“Minnesotans and our army of volunteers nationwide are fired up and working hard to re-elect President Trump and Republicans up and down the ballot in November,” Samsundar said. “With all of the energy on the ground, it’s clear that our country will settle for nothing less than four more years!”

As of late, the Trump Victory organization and the Republican National Committee have been touting their growing success in Minnesota as of late – most recently touting its one millionth voter contact. The state was deemed a battleground state after President Trump came within 44,000 votes of defeating Hillary Clinton. Minnesota has not seen its electors cast their votes for president since Richard Nixon defeated George McGovern in the 1972 election.
