Since its release at midnight Thursday, “The Fall of Minneapolis” has been viewed more than 200,000 times for free on Rumble. People have weighed in on social media with their reactions ever since.

Produced by Alpha News journalist Liz Collin and directed by Dr. JC Chaix, the documentary exposes the holes in the prevailing narrative surrounding George Floyd’s death, the trial of Derek Chauvin, and the fallout the city of Minneapolis has suffered ever since.

Many people expressed their sadness and anger after seeing the film, like these reactions posted on X.

An article from American Greatness called the film “sobering,” describing the current and former police officers interviewed for the movie and “how they were forced to stand down when the rioters were burning and looting their way through the city, and how they were forced to face the rioters without riot gear.”

“They said some officers had to escape the 3rd Precinct on foot as it fell to the mob in a scene reminiscent of a zombie movie,” the review reads.

The movie has also received hundreds of positive reviews from viewers on Rumble.

Meanwhile, some Facebook users have continued to post about being censored when trying to share the documentary through that social media platform. Some Facebook users told Alpha News their accounts were flagged last week as the premiere date drew closer for the film.
