With Joe Biden’s own presidential capabilities in question, the power of his vice president seems stronger than ever. Biden has created one of the most pro-abortion tickets in history by choosing Sen. Kamala Harris of California as his running mate.
Biden has supported abortion and recently stopped supporting the Hyde Amendment, which blocks federal funding of abortions. In true sleepy Joe form, he cannot seem to stick to one coherent script. Harris, on the other hand, has been a ferocious abortion advocate from the beginning.
Looking into Sen. Harris’ voting record, a far-left agenda can be seen as clear as day. She falls in line with many other progressives as staunchly pro-choice. Harris supported the Women’s Health Protection Act, one of the most aggressive pro-choice pieces of legislation ever. The bill sought to override any state laws prohibiting abortions after the fetal-viability point if the mother’s physical or mental health was at risk.
On two occasions she voted to allow newborn babies to die of neglect should they survive an abortion procedure. She stands for abortion without restrictions. NARAL Pro-Choice America, one of the strongest pro-choice powerhouses in California, scored Harris at 100% in 2017, 2018, and 2019, meaning she has a perfect pro-choice voting record.
Not only has she supported these murderous policies, but she has also taken significant action against members of the pro-life community. Harris was the California attorney general when David Daleiden went undercover to expose Planned Parenthood for selling baby parts. She saw to it that Daleiden’s house was raided to confiscate his videos and hard drives.
Harris had no problem looking past the criminal activity of Planned Parenthood and going full force to ensure that anyone who was a threat to her friend felt the repercussions. This type of underhanded behavior from a potential vice president sends a strong message to the world: if Harris is in power, Planned Parenthood will be in power.
The future of the pro-life movement relies on free speech and a government that does not squash the beliefs of its citizens. Biden and Harris are pro-choice extremists who want the abortion mills to be in power. This November, the pro-life movement must take a stand and vote against them.
