Amy Klobuchar for President

Minnesota Democrat US Senator Amy Klobuchar took another step closer to announcing her expected Presidential campaign.

When was asked on MSNBC show Morning Joe if she is planning to run for President, Klobuchar responded that she has been thinking about it for a while and that her family is fully supportive of her campaign.

Twitter User Max Marshall tweeted what appears to be a logo/theme mockups for the soon to be announced Presidential campaign that was left on a table at a DC coffee shop.

President Donald Trump came within 2 percent of defeating Hillary Clinton in Minnesota. In 2020 President Trump is expected to run for re-election and to be competitive in Minnesota.

When asked by MPR News during her 2018 election if she would commit to serving her full six-year term, Klobuchar responded: “Of course I will”.

Republican Party of Minnesota Chair Jennifer Carnahan released a statement criticizing the broken promise by Amy Klobuchar “From Angie Craig and Dean Phillips going back on their word to not vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker, to Klobuchar backtracking on her promise to complete her full term, it is evident Minnesota Democrats will say anything on the campaign trail to get elected.”
