The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is coming to Minnesota this week for its “America vs. Socialism” tour.

CPAC Minnesota will take place Oct. 22 to “ensure that the socialist, anti-American platform of the Democratic Party cannot and will not win in November.”

The event will be held at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. followed by a debate watch party.

Confirmed speakers include American Conservative Union Chairman Matt Schlapp, U.S. Senate candidate Jason Lewis, U.S. Rep. Jim Hagedorn, and congressional candidates Tyler Kistner, Lacy Johnson and Michelle Fishbach. Brandon Straka, founder of the Walk Away movement, will also speak at the event.

British journalist Katie Hopkins will speak Monday night at the Thai Twist Restaurant and Banquet Hall in Blaine for an event hosted by American Majority Action.

“Despite Brits being barred from the USA due to COVID-19, Katie Hopkins was determined to make it in to help campaign to keep America free. She travelled via the Caribbean, spent two days in isolation, 15 days in quarantine, and flew via Barbados and JFK to make it in,” an event description states.

The event will begin at 7:00 p.m.
