Local Minnesota small business owners joined Trump surrogates and the Republicans Party of Minnesota for economic roundtables in Eden Prairie and Albert Lea to discuss how Trump’s economy is helping their businesses.
These economic roundtables in Minnesota are apart of the Republican National Committee and Trump Victory operation’s “Open for Business” tour that features 17 states.
Congressman Jim Hagedorn of the 1st congressional district attended the Albert Lea roundtable and noted that “cutting regulations have been a part of the engine of this economic comeback we’ve seen. The tax bill has also had a positive effect – putting more money in the pocket of everyone has had a really good effect.”
Robert Nuss of Nuss Trucking was also in attendance. Back in April, Nuss Trucking hosted a roundtable discussion in Burnsville that featured President Donald Trump. “The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act certainly made an impact because we were able to give raises and bonuses at year end,” noted Nuss.
“President Trump has brought back that confidence in the American dream – that anyone in this country can achieve it with hard work,” Jennifer Carnahan, Chairwoman of the Republican Party of Minnesota, stated after listening to the stories of local business owners.
