Alpha News is proud to announce the release of the upcoming documentary, Minnesota Mao.
The YouTube premiere is scheduled for Thursday, June 4 at 7 p.m. Follow the link below to set a reminder.
During the YouTube premiere, producer Liz Collin and director Dr. JC Chaix will be participating in the live chat to respond to comments and offer insights.
The crowdfunded documentary takes a cutting look at the strange connections between Gov. Tim Walz—aka “Minnesota Mao”—and Chairman Mao Zedong, the former dictator of the Chinese Communist Party.
Along with the connections in the documentary itself, Liz Collin explained that the June 4 release date is also significant.
“June 4 is the day that commemorates the atrocities of the Tiananmen Square Massacre—and the anniversary of Gov. Tim Walz and his wife Gwen.”

Gov. Walz said they chose that wedding date—five years after the massacre—because “he wanted to have a date he’ll always remember.”
Collin, who produced the documentary, is also in the documentary conducting interviews.
The interviewees come from all walks of life, from a former college professor fired for refusing the COVID vaccine, to the mother of a child who was present during the Annunciation School shooting, to former Minneapolis police officer Tou Thao—who was released from prison for his part in the death of George Floyd just days before the interview with Collin—and several others.
Along with interviews, the documentary is based upon archival footage, books, news and social media, and other sources with more than 300 references.

A screening of the documentary took place earlier this week with nearly 200 people in attendance — a sold-out crowd.
Minnesota State Rep. Pam Altendorf, who attended the event, called Minnesota Mao “another outstanding documentary” revealing the “‘inside politics’ leading up to and currently influencing the political & economic crisis happening in Minnesota!”
Chris Birt, a Minnesota marketing and advertising guru—whose photographs were highlighted by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and appear in the documentary—said that Minnesota Mao is “what the Republicans need to have everyone in the party see and internalize, or they will get their asses kicked.”

Jeff Brinkman, an outspoken Minnesota entrepreneur who also attended, called it “ground-breaking work exposing the Maoist movement in Minnesota.”
Minnesota Mao will be released to the public via a YouTube premiere scheduled for Thursday, June 4 at 7 p.m.
It will be released to other online platforms the following week.
Minnesota Mao is the third documentary presented by Alpha News, which also released Minnesota v. We the People, and The Fall of Minneapolis to the public free of charge.
